We're looking for a full time bookkeeper/call taker to work in our office Monday-Friday with the flexibility of call taking on call.

Job Duties:

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service by answering incoming calls and emails

  • Schedule customers and technicians

  • Communicate with technicians

  • Answer incoming calls from customers related to service, billing, and other departments

  • Manage customer concerns and work to resolve them efficiently and effectively

  • Post journal entires

  • Maintain general ledges and financial statements

  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts

  • Make accounts receivable calls and take payment when necessary

  • Enter accounts payable

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll

  • Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports

  • Other assigned duties as directed by management

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2-5 year experience in bookkeeping and customer service

  • Experience with QuickBooks

  • Intermediate knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures related to Plumbing & HVAC an asset
